Early championship of the Iranian national under-21 mens taekwondo team

At the World Taekwondo Championships in Kenya

The Iranian national under-21 men's taekwondo team, under the guidance of Majid Aflaki, secured an early championship at the World Taekwondo Championships in Kenya. Additionally, the Iranian girls' team concluded their campaign without a team podium finish, but with one gold medal won by Mobina Ne'matzadeh and one bronze medal won by Hasti Mohammadi.

With the conclusion of these competitions, it seems that the city of Shiapchang, Kenya, was auspicious for Iranian taekwondo this time. Amidst this, two prominent figures from our country, Mobina Ne'matzadeh and Abolfazl Zandi, with brilliant performances, once again registered Iran's name at the pinnacle of the world and demonstrated that the path to success remains open for Iranian taekwondo practitioners.

Our national taekwondo team ultimately concluded its participation in these competitions by acquiring a total of 8 gold, silver, and bronze medals. For Team Iran, Abolfazl Zandi, Radin Zinali, Amirreza Gholami, and Mobina Ne'matzadeh won 4 gold medals; Mohammad Alizadeh won one silver medal; and Matin Rezaei, Amirmohammad Ashrafi, and Hasti Mohammadi together secured 3 bronze medals.

Finally, H.E. Dr. Ali Gholampour, Iranian ambassador to Kenya, hosted a dinner at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Nairobi in the honor of Mr. Hadi Saei, the former world and Olympic champion of our country and the current president of the Iranian Taekwondo Federation, along with all members of the Iranian national under-21 men's and women's taekwondo team.
