Meeting between Irans Assistant Foreign Minister Kenyas Principal Secretary of Foreign Affairs

on strengthening Kenya-Iran relations

On June 19, 2024, a meeting was held between H.E. Amb. A. Khosravinezhad, Assistant Minister & Director-General for Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and H.E. Dr. Singoei A. Korir, Principal Secretary of Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya.

Discussions focused on strengthening Kenya-Iran relations through collaborative engagements in key sectors like trade, investment, agriculture, ICT, energy, and healthcare.

furthermore, the meeting reaffirmed both countries' commitment to deepening historical and trade ties through the Joint Commission on Cooperation and other bilateral channels.

H.E. Ambassador Khosravinezhad was accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Ali Gholampour, Iran's Ambassador to Nairobi.
