Signing Condolence Book by Hon. Abdishakur Sheikh Hussein Director of the Middle East

following the passing of H.E. Ebrahim Raisi the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran

We had the honor of hosting Hon. Abdishakur Sheikh Hussein, Director of the Middle East at the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya, during his solemn visit to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Hon. Abdishakur extended his condolences and those of his colleagues in the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs to H.E. Dr. Ali Gholampour, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Nairobi, following the passing of H.E. Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with his Foreign Minister, H.E. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and other senior officials in a helicopter accident on Sunday, May 19.

During a brief encounter with H.E. Dr. Gholampour, they addressed key collaborations between Kenya and Iran in June 2024, such as the JCC and senior delegations visiting Iran.
