More good news on the virtual cartoon competition

The secretariat of the festival has more good news on the competition.

Announcement on the Virtual Cartoon Competition of “Africa and COVID-19”

1) In addition to the awards for the 5 winners, the festival secretariat decided to equally award certificate of appreciation to three selected cartoons by the jury.

2) The deadline for submitting artworks remains August 5th , 2020, and there will be no extension on the submission date.

3) it is worth noting that in the first wave of COVID-19 pandemic, many notable artworks had been created by cartoonists, in this regard, the festival secretariat decided to accept artworks previously published by artists (except those that have already won awards).
