The recent meeting between H.E. Dr. Gholampour, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Kenya, and the Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, Kenya's Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, addressed the latest developments concerning "the blatant and illegal aggression" by the Zionist regime against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This aggression, has tragically resulted in the martyrdom of hundreds, including innocent women and children.
During the discussion, Hon. Mudavadi extended his condolences and sympathy to the people of Iran. He conveyed that the Republic of Kenya is "not pleased" with the recent events. He cited two primary reasons for Kenya's dissatisfaction: first, the humanitarian crisis that has significantly worsened the living conditions for many; and second, the disregard shown for Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The meeting underscored the growing international concern over the escalating tensions in the Middle East and the call for adherence to international law and respect for national sovereignty.
