Commemorating National Day of the Persian Gulf

on 10th Ordibehesht (April 30th)

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Nairobi, alongside all Iranians around the world, proudly commemorates 10th Ordibehesht (April 30th) as National Day of the Persian Gulf, a name reflecting shared heritage among its coastal states.

This significant day honors the shared historical and cultural heritage of the nations bordering the Persian Gulf, serving as a symbol of longstanding friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation among the peoples of the region. It also highlights the importance of strengthening mutual collaboration between the coastal states in various fields such as culture, economy, and politics.

On this occasion, we reaffirm our commitment to preserving the rich legacy and strategic importance of the Persian Gulf - a vital waterway that has long connected civilizations and continues to play a central role in regional and global stability.

May the Persian Gulf symbolize cooperation, coexistence, and collective well-being.

The Persian Gulf forever, the cradle of history and unity.
