Condolences from dignitaries and officials of the State of Eritrea to the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran
For the martyrdom of the Honorable President of the Islamic Republic of Iran the Minister of Foreign Affairs and their companions in the helicopter crash in East Azarbaijan province.
After the tragic passing of His Excellency Ayatollah Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with several other high-ranking officials in a helicopter crash on Sunday, May 30, 1403, dignitaries from the State of Eritrea, including His Excellency Isaias Afwerki, President of State of Eritrea and His Excellency Osman Saleh Mohammed, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Eritrea extended their sympathies to the Iranian government and its people for this significant loss.

It is with deep sorrow that we have received the tragic news of the passing away of H.E. Mr. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Mr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs along with other high officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a helicopter crash near Jolfa, East Azarbaijan province.
On this gravely sad occasion, allow me to express my heartfelt condolences, on behalf of the people and Government of the State of Eritrea and on my own behalf, to Your Excellency, and through you, to the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as to the bereaved families of the deceased.
