Ayatollah Khamenei, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a message on the occasion of the martyrdom of the valiant commander of Islam, IRGC Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, and a group of his companions armed by the usurping and despicable Zionist regime, insisted: “We will make them regret this crime and those similar to it, with the help and power of Allah.”

Here is the text of the message from the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution:

In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful,

The valiant and devoted commander of Islam, Brigadier General of the Revolutionary Guards Corps, Mohammad Reza Zahedi, alongside his noble comrade in arms, General Mohammad Hadi Haj Rahimi, were martyred by the crime of usurping and evil Zionist regime. Greetings and mercy from Allah and His loved ones on them and the other martyrs of this event, and curse and imprecation on the leaders of the unjust and aggressor regime.

Our martyrs have received the sign of acceptance of their long jihad on the path of Allah, the Merciful and are now enjoying divine graces and blessings among the near saints and the righteous.

Since the 1960s, General Zahedi had been awaiting martyrdom on the fields of danger and jihad. They lost nothing and received their reward, but the pain of their loss is heavy for the Iranian nation, especially for those who knew them.

The evil [Zionist] regime will be punished by our brave people. We will make them regret this crime and those like it, with the help and power of Allah.
