H.E. Dr. Ali Gholampour paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Hassan Ali Joho, EGH, Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy & Maritime Affairs, at his office on the afternoon of Monday, March 10, 2025.  They discussed all aspects of bilateral cooperation, including the framework for implementing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two countries regarding the blue economy sector. Iran possesses robust institutions and infrastructure for fisheries development.  They agreed to establish learning exchange programs, collaborate on seafood processing, and explore partnership opportunities in maritime affairs and mining.  In attendance during the meeting were the Principal Secretary for the Blue Economy and the Principal Secretary for Mining.
