Dr. Ali Gholampour referenced the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his advocacy for peaceful coexistence, even with adversaries. While commemorating the anniversary of the martyrdom of Haj Qassem Soleimani, he condemned the United States for the assassination and highlighted Soleimani's qualities and contributions toward establishing peace. "Martyr Soleimani was a commander who faithfully followed the orders of Islam in an honest, just, and peaceful manner," he stated. Rev. Dr. Musindai Frederick captivated the audience by discussing Imam Ali and his role in the Treaty of Hudaibiyya between Muslims and the Quraish. Regarding Imam Ali, he remarked, "His mantle was to prioritize peace over violence; these elements can be found in his many writings." "Ladies and gentlemen, today is a day when we focus on Islam and peace," Amb. Esther Waringa noted, emphasizing that interreligious harmony is a crucial aspect of societal intervention. Sheikh Yusuf Ismail defined Islam and peace, demonstrating their interconnectedness and familiarity. "All major religions in the world, including Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, share the same core values of justice, compassion, and peace," added Sheikh Salim Charo. Dr. Mohammed Bahaidar elaborated on the concepts of Al-Rahman and Al-Rahim, stating that mortals cannot achieve anything without God's intervention, which is fundamental to our contentment and peace.
