Regarding the List of Centers Licensed to Admit International Patients (IPD)

Announcement by the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education Regarding the List of Centers Licensed to Admit International Patients (IPD)

With respect to the process of issuing licenses for International Patient Admission (IPD) units in medical centers (including hospitals, limited surgical centers, infertility treatment centers, general and specialized clinics, and dental clinics) by the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, and in order to inform and introduce these centers to applicants seeking medical services in the Islamic Republic of Iran, it is hereby announced that the list of these medical centers is available through the Health Tourism website at the following address:

iht.behdasht.gov.ir

Accordingly, all applicants can prioritize receiving standard health services, and it is advised to refrain from referring patients to medical centers without a valid IPD license.

It is noteworthy that, in accordance with the agreements made between the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education and the esteemed Deputy for Tourism of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, the transfer of international patients from the country of origin to the Islamic Republic of Iran and vice versa is the responsibility of health tourism companies holding valid licenses issued by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. Matters related to the above processes can be pursued through that Ministry.
